Whats in a Pro Photographers Camera Bag?
Anytime I meet a business owner or maker I am always interested in knowing about their tools of the trade. Aren’t you? I get curious about their who, how and what.
So let’s get transparent about what I have in my bag. My tools of the trade are a few key things that are present almost every shoot.
In this camera bag demo I talk about my 4 key lenses and preference of camera.
So if we haven’t met yet, I am Crystal, I chose the Nikon camera as my choice of camera for all things commercial photography.
I originally stared with a Nikon D610 body and have recently upgraded to the Nikon D750. It is a professional grade camera that has served me well over the year. I chose Nikon because it has a faster shutter speed than Cannon. I love using it for the quick confetti toss or quick photos of clients laughing their butts off in excitement.
You will see that I first use the 50mm lens. It is my go to, my baby, my ride or die lens. I use this guy for at least 75% of my shoots. It is a fixed lens with a wide angle and allows me to drop my F stop down quite a bit. AND I love it! It is also my main go to lens for flatlay photography.
Next up is my 35mm, this lens is great for smaller space or offices that don’t have a lot of room for you to achieve the ideal depth and width of the image. Next up is my 100mm macro lens, this guys is SO amazing. The macro lens is designed to help you get extremely precise in your images. So if you want to grasp the texture and/or detail this lens is the best! Lastly, I keep my good ole 85mm. It is my go to portrait lens for the boss that needs a quick headshot update.
As you can see we are all specific to our tools of our trade. So here is mine, don’t forget to tag me when you share yours!
