How Photography Can Add to Your Company’s Bottom Line
Let’s think of the things that provoke someone to buy from you.
Whether it’s a $20 body butter or a $50 necklace, there is a formula to why someone would buy from you, and photography helps drive that home. It’s a piece of a very important puzzle. It’s the hot water to your tea and the venti to your coffee, girlfriend.
Really, everything in our generation is visual. And a skilled photographer, like myself, can guide you to invest your money in the right areas so that you maximize the effect of your images when you promote your brand.
One way this happens is through creating brand recognition with your visuals. A perfectly curated feed or beautifully branded email template radiates professionalism. Good, original images also contribute to upleveling your brand in a big way. Plus, Google and other search engines love original image content, and their algorithms are set up to favor it.
Your images can also give you an opportunity to generate brand credibility. Your visuals allow you to show potential customers how the service or product you offer solves a problem for them. And this makes them want to buy.
You can stretch your investment by using your images through all areas of marketing, not just your social media. By reusing images in several places, you develop your look across the board and move toward becoming a recognized brand. So in addition to your social media, use those images in your eBooks! Include them in your online trainings or webinars! Print them in your product catalogs and on banners for trade shows!
There is so much competition these days, and it’s crazy how fast people can set up a business. Quality images help ensure that you set yourself apart from the crowd. They keep you unique. And they encourage your potential customers to stay on your website longer, which increases their chances of purchasing.
And let’s focus on social media for a minute. Visuals are the first thing potential customers see, and then content comes afterward. Beautiful images help to keep potential customers engaged on social media and are an opportunity to demonstrate your insight and show off your expertise. We all follow accounts because they’re visually appealing or offer us some sort of fun or educational appeal. And sometimes we also get interested in a product we see and want to know more. All of these interactions allow you to build your relationships with potential customers and promote them to buy from you.
So use these tips to make sure that your dollars are working for you and help you pad that bottom line! And, as always, I’d love to chat with you about your business and what image options would work best for you.
